The Hidden Valley Community Association serves Hidden Valley, including Hanson Ranch in HiddenValley. 

Borders are defined as follows:

North: Stoney Trail

East: Beddington Trail

South: Country Hills Boulevard

West: Shaganappi Trail

City Quadrant: North West

HIdden Valley is part of Calgary - Foothills-  (MLA - Len Webber)

   -Hidden Valley is within Ward 4 - Councillor - Gael MacLeod

Hanson Ranch is part of Calgary - Northern Hills -  (MLA - Teresa Woo-Paw)

     -Hanson Ranch is within Ward 3 - Councillor - Jim Stevenson .  Hanson Ranch is not considered a separate community within Ward 3, as it is 'In Hidden Valley'.
